Frank Stella’s K-series

This video is a real treat to Frank Stella admirers. It offers real good views and close-ups of the latest works by Frank Stella. In particular, it shows the 5 sculptures of Frank Stella’s Bali Series and 3 sculptures of the K- Series (courtesy Ficher Rohr Gallery, Basel) in a Frank Stella exhibition which was part of St. Moritz Art Masters. The art was presented in the Paracelsus Building in St. Moritz, Switzerland, in 2008.

In addition, learn in this video how the Scarlatti’s sonatas influenced Frank Stella in this series from Prof. Dr. Franz-Joachim Verspohl who discusses Frank Stella’s latest works. Prof. Verspohl is quite an authority on Frank Stella. He holds the chair of Art History at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany. He has edited a book with Frank Stella’s lectures and talks, published by Walther König.
